BES managed to collect a billion hryvnia in taxes from Parimatch, - journalist

Detectives of the Main Division of Detectives BES in criminal proceedings ensured the reimbursement of unpaid taxes to the budget by one of the well-known organizers of gambling.

Journalist Yevhen Plinskyi, citing his own sources, reported that we are talking about Parimatch.

It was established that officials of the gambling operator company deliberately evaded paying taxes on a particularly large scale in the period from 2021 to 2023.

After carrying out a set of investigative actions, the mentioned operator decided to compensate for the damage caused to the state and transferred 1 billion 66 million hryvnia to the budget .

During the pre-trial investigation of criminal proceedings, detectives from the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine announced suspicion to the head of the enterprise.

Prosecutors from the Office of the Prosecutor General sent a petition to the court for release from criminal liability in the manner prescribed by Part 4 of Art. 212 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The trial of the petition continues.

Operational support was provided by employees of the Security Service of Ukraine.

Let us remind you that since the beginning of 2024, BES detectives have provided compensation to the budget of UAH 3.4 billion in criminal proceedings sent to the court.
