Ukrainian Armed Forces have launched an offensive in the Kharkiv region, – Zhorin

Deputy Commander of the 3rd Assault Brigade, Maksym Zhorin, pointed to the section of the front where the brigade, according to its statement, began its offensive.

According to Zhorin, this concerns the Borovoye region in the Kharkiv region on the Kupyansk-Svatove section of the front.

"These are offensive actions in the area of responsibility of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade in the direction of Borova. They are successful and have been going on for almost a week. We deliberately did not make statements about this in order to consolidate the result. As of today, this result has already been achieved," said the deputy commander of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade.

Zhorin also added that the operation in the Kursk region did not distract Russian forces from their direction.

"The enemy forces from our direction were not recalled. Both the forces located opposite and their reserves remained in place. We even assumed that the enemy would have fewer reserves, but there turned out to be quite a lot of them. The enemy can afford to send in "packs" of 100 people," Zhorin noted.

"The situation in Kursk has not changed our directions and related ones," added the deputy commander of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade.
