Cabinet of Ministers has given permission to military units to independently recruit conscripts, bypassing the TRC

The government has made changes to the procedure for conscripting citizens for military service during mobilization, according to which the commander of a military unit is given the right to staff combat units with volunteers and issue them a referral to undergo a military medical commission.

The list of military units that will receive this right will be approved by the General Staff.
