The plane near Kostyantynivka was shot down by the Russians themselves, - media

The Russian military plane shot down in the Donetsk region was not destroyed by the Ukrainian Defence Forces. It was attacked by the Russian military themselves.

This was reported by a source in the Defence Forces.

According to him, the plane shot down near Kostyantynivka launched corrected aerial bombs at the territory controlled by Ukraine. But it was shot down not during the work of the Ukrainian air defense, but as a result of friendly fire.

The source does not specify other details, in particular, whether it was a Su-25 or a Su-34.
