The HACC released Nasirov’s father-in-law from custody
The High Anti-Corruption Court has released Oleksandr Hlimbovskyi, the father-in-law of the former head of the State Fiscal Service Roman Nasirov and the owner of the Altis group of companies, from custody. He has been placed under round-the-clock house arrest.
The decision was made on October 24 by the investigating judge of the HACC, Ihor Strohyi, as reported by “Slovo i Dilo.”
It is known that the anti-corruption court extended Hlimbovskyi’s arrest until November 11. His defender filed a motion to change the preventive measure, which the court partially satisfied.
“To change the preventive measure applied by the ruling of the investigating judge of the High Anti-Corruption Court dated September 12, 2024, in the case against (Hlimbovskyi – ed.) from custody to round-the-clock house arrest. To apply a preventive measure in the form of round-the-clock house arrest at his place of residence for two months. To release the suspect from custody immediately,” the decision states.
The court also imposed the following obligations on Hlimbovskyi: not to leave the city of Kyiv and the Kyiv region without permission; to report any change of residence; to refrain from communicating with certain individuals; to surrender his foreign passports for safekeeping and to wear an electronic bracelet.
The prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office filed an appeal against this decision.
