Thanks to the "Army+" app, every serviceman in the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be able to transfer to another unit without unnecessary bureaucratic procedures. The mechanism of this innovation has already been developed, and the app’s functionality is ready.

This was reported by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in an address to the nation on November 12. According to his words, the Ministry of Defence should determine when and how the service will start operating.

"There is a solution for many of our servicemen who wish to transfer to another unit in the Armed Forces. The Cabinet of Ministers today approved a resolution. The technical functionality is ready. Everything should work through "Army+"—no bureaucracy. And there must be a clear response to every appeal. The Ministry of Defence should explain to the public all the details—what will happen in the first, test phase, and what will happen after the full launch," stated the President.

Zelenskyy promised that all decisions of military commanders regarding transfer requests "will be monitored to avoid unreasonable rejections." The response algorithm has already been defined.

"The system should work exactly as we discussed with the guys on the frontline and representatives of civil society. I am grateful to everyone who participated in developing this new functionality. Today, I instructed the Ministry of Defence and the General Staff to report on how to extend this opportunity to all Defence and Security Forces, including the National Guard and the Border Service," added the President.

According to the head of state, the "issue of officer ranks and positions has been raised, and there is already a view on how this can be made more modern."
