Security Service of Ukraine detained a lieutenant colonel of the Ukrainian special forces

He is suspected of collaborating with Russian military intelligence.

The detainee is the commander of one of the units. It is claimed that he was recruited even before the full-scale war began.

The SSU reports that he passed information about the operations of Ukrainian special forces behind the front lines in the Zaporizhzhya, Kherson, and Crimea directions.

The investigation was conducted by the Odesa department of the SSU. The lieutenant colonel faces life imprisonment for treason.
