Ukraine has officially confirmed that it discussed lowering the mobilization age with the USA

This was announced at a briefing by the official representative of the Ukrainian MFA, Heorhiy Tykhyi.

"I can confirm that this topic is being raised in negotiations. I can refute that this is a cause of tension or that it is being discussed critically or negatively," Tykhyi said.

He also made it clear that Kyiv’s main request to allies is the supply of weapons, as there are issues with arming those already drafted.

«We are currently in a situation where we need supplies to arm everyone who is already mobilized, and we believe that the first priority should be to provide military assistance as soon as possible», he added.
