There have appeared fraudulent schemes involving the "Zelenskyy’s thousand": a woman lost almost 100,000 hryvnias

Fraudsters have started extorting large sums of money from citizens by taking advantage of the "Zelenskyy Thousand" program.

According to the National Police, a resident of the Chernivtsi region lost almost 100,000 hryvnias after falling victim to scammers who promised her the "Zelenskyy Thousand."

The woman told law enforcement officers that she saw an advertisement in a messenger about the possibility of allegedly receiving a payment under the "Winter Support" program.

After following the link, she registered by providing confidential information, after which all the money disappeared from her card – 98,960 hryvnias.
