Border guards of Lviv region exposed two "married couples" at the border with Poland
At the border with Poland, border guards in Lviv region exposed two fake couples. In both cases, the men married women with disabilities to gain the right to travel abroad.

At the "Hrushiv" checkpoint on the border with Poland, border guards of the 7th Carpathian Border Detachment exposed a 33-year-old resident of Poltava and a 39-year-old woman from the Poltava region, who allegedly entered into a marriage without the intention of creating a real family. Since the woman has a disability, this gives her husband the right to cross the border. The fake couple was supposedly heading to Austria to visit a male acquaintance. In conversation with the border guards, the "family couple" could not answer logical questions.
An incident also occurred at the "Krakovets" checkpoint. There, a 38-year-old resident of Ivano-Frankivsk region and a 33-year-old woman from Khmelnytskyi region were exposed. The woman also has a disability. According to their story, the "newlyweds" were heading to visit the mother-in-law. However, both told the border guards completely different stories about their married life, including their acquaintance and cohabitation.
The men were not allowed to cross the border by the border guards, and these cases were reported to law enforcement agencies.
