In the Kursk region, a soldier from the DPRK was captured for the first time, - media

The Ukrainian Defence Forces have likely captured the first North Korean soldier who was fighting in the Kursk region as part of the Russian occupying forces.

The corresponding photo of the DPRK serviceman appeared online.

The photo was published in the closed Telegram channel Warshal18. Later, it was shared by other channels as well.

The North Korean serviceman was captured by the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Kursk direction.

"The SOF group conducted an operation to eliminate the enemy in the Kursk direction. Besides successfully completing the mission, they also secured trophies: prisoners, including a mercenary from Korea, as well as an APC equipped with anti-cumulative protection," the original post is quoted by the publication "Mil.in.ua".

It is also noted that the SOF soldiers captured enemy weapons and documents.
