In Ukraine, the rules for crossing the border for men aged 18-25 years have been changed

The government of Ukraine has changed the rules for crossing the state border for men aged 18 to 25 during martial law. This decision was made at the government meeting on Tuesday, December 31, as reported by the government representative to the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk, on Telegram.

It has been established that in the event of the imposition of martial law in Ukraine, the crossing of the state border by male Ukrainian citizens aged 18 to 25, who have served under contract in the Armed Forces or an intelligence agency of the Ministry of Defence, as well as those who have not undergone military service (except basic training) before signing the contract, is conducted by authorized officers of the State Border Guard Service under the conditions of compliance with the rules for crossing the state border of Ukraine.

Additionally, it is necessary to have the following documents: a certificate issued by the commander of the military unit (the head of the district (combined district), city (district in cities, combined city) territorial center for recruitment and social support), the head of the relevant unit of the intelligence agency of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, with information on the contract conclusion; and a military registration document.
