The occupiers are unsuccessfully trying to encircle Pokrovsk, - OSG "Khortytsia"

The Russian occupation army continues to carry out intensive offensive actions in the Pokrovsk direction. The enemy is attempting to advance with small infantry groups around the district center.

The invaders aim to encircle Pokrovsk, but their attempts have so far been unsuccessful. This was stated by a representative of the operational-strategic group of troops "Khortytsia" Viktor Trehubov in a TV marathon broadcast.

According to him, at this stage, Putin’s troops do not pose a threat to the city of Pokrovsk. However, this section of the front remains one of the hottest for a month.

The serviceman emphasized that the Russian occupiers are not succeeding in achieving progress that would allow them to directly threaten the district center. Therefore, the enemy is trying to advance in the settlements around Pokrovsk and encircle the city.

"If we talk about a major movement, something that can really threaten the city in the near future, we cannot say this at the moment," said the representative of the OSG "Khortytsia".

Despite the approach of the front line, more than 7,000 civilians remain in Pokrovsk. The city military administration noted that the pace of population evacuation has slowed compared to before.
