Russian invaders are trying to completely capture Toretsk as quickly as possible

Russian occupation forces are making every effort to fully capture Toretsk as soon as possible. 

This was reported by the head of the Toretsk City Military Administration, Vasyl Chynchyk, in an interview with "Espreso".

The occupiers are intensively shelling the city and the community with artillery and mortars and are also carrying out airstrikes.

Chynchyk noted that the frontline here changes periodically. According to him, Russian forces are steadily advancing every day. The Russian army controls the majority of apartment buildings in this locality.

"About 60 residents remain in Toretsk, mainly elderly people living in extremely difficult conditions: in basements, shelters, without proper sanitary conditions," emphasized the head of the Civil-Military Administration.

Ukrainian military journalist Bohdan Miroshnykov reported that around 20-25% of the territory of Toretsk remains under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
