Almost half of the Russian troops are fighting near Pokrovsk, - Malomuzh
Russian forces aim to capture Pokrovsk and have concentrated nearly half of their armies there.
This was reported to Channel 24 by Army General, former head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, Mykola Malomuzh.
According to the general, the Russians can reach the city only by fire means — mortar-missile systems, which reach a distance of up to 40 kilometers, long-range artillery, GABs, and drones.
All other components — armored vehicles and the manpower of the occupiers — do not reach Pokrovsk. Russian infantry is moving around the outskirts of the city from different directions, trying to semi-encircle Pokrovsk and subsequently encircle the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Thus, the enemy can capture important transport lines, such as the road from Pokrovsk to Pavlohrad, and the railway routes that supply the Ukrainian army with weapons, ammunition, and personnel.
“We do not allow them to do this by conducting counterattacks, and most importantly, by destroying a significant part of all the occupiers fighting on the front. About 40% of them are here,” Malomuzh emphasized.
