Financial crimes and drops: Is the National Police taking on the role of the Bureau of Economic Security?
It’s very strange to read that the National Police has developed a draft law on the responsibility of drops.
Drops are under the clear jurisdiction of the Bureau of Economic Security (BES), because the investigation here involves not so much the fact of transferring a bank card to someone, but unraveling the financial chains of its use.
And this is a very specialized matter for which BES was created. This is pure economics.
It is obvious that "economic" topics always attract all law enforcement agencies despite the distribution of jurisdiction, so the National Police’s interest in "drops" is understandable.
