Law enforcement officers uncovered a large-scale scheme of illegal smuggling of men across the border: 270 searches conducted

The police have uncovered criminal schemes for smuggling conscription-age men across the state border in 19 regions of Ukraine.

The participants in the illegal activities, including private entrepreneurs, organizers of "shadow routes," and administrators of messaging apps, falsified documents, provided fake certificates of unfitness for military service, and entered false data into the "Shlyakh" system.

During a large-scale operation, law enforcement, involving migration police, cyber police officers, investigators, and border guards, conducted 270 searches. During the investigation, forged documents, computer equipment, mobile phones, rough notes, and a significant amount of money in different currencies were seized.

The suspects have been charged under Part 3 of Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine), which provides for up to 9 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property.
