Scammers collect Ukrainians’ data under the pretext of preparing for the census, - CCD

According to the statement by the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defence Council, fraudsters claiming to be employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are collecting information about Ukrainian citizens under the pretext of preparing for a census.

They request personal data, including photographs and fingerprints.

The Center asserts that the Ministry of Internal Affairs is not involved in preparing for a census and does not conduct such activities.
