In Kharkiv, employees of the TRC were exposed for a bribe of 70,000 hryvnias

Law enforcement officers detained officials from one of the territorial recruitment centers (TRC) in Kharkiv, who organized a corruption scheme to assist draft dodgers.

For 70,000 UAH ($1,700), men were offered a fictitious change of registration location, transferring them to the "necessary" TRC without personal presence. Subsequently, those liable for military service were issued summonses each month, allowing them to move freely around the city without the risk of forced mobilization.

The scheme has been dismantled, and the officials involved have been detained.
