Director General of the IAEA Grossi arrived in Ukraine for a visit
On February 4, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, arrived in Ukraine. The main purpose of this visit is to assess the damage to the "Kyivska" substation as a result of Russian shelling.
This facility is extremely important for the safety of Ukraine’s nuclear energy. Grossi himself reported this in his account on the X network.
"During my 11th visit to Ukraine since the start of the war, I am heading to the ’Kyivska’ substation, which is critical for the safety of Ukrainian nuclear energy, to assess the damage and help prevent a nuclear accident. The growing vulnerability of the grid represents an increasing risk for all nuclear power plants, not just for the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant," the IAEA Director General noted.

The Rivne NPP - "Kyivska" substation power line is a high-voltage power line between the Rivne NPP and the "Kyivska" substation with a voltage of 750 kV, which supplies electricity to the city of Kyiv, as well as to the central and northern regions.
