A terrible incident occurred in one of the orphanages in the Lviv region. There, a police officer beat a child to force him to confess to theft.
The incident took place at the Busk orphanage "Kind Heart". In the local Facebook community, children’s testimonies were spread, after which the police started investigating this case.
The children complained that a policeman named Andriy beat an orphanage resident named Mykhaylo. The boy was accused of theft, but he denied his guilt. After this, the policeman started beating the child with a belt. Mykhaylo cried and confessed. However, according to the children, he did not actually commit the theft.
The orphans also reported that the policeman beat two other children. They said that before beating Mykhaylo, the officer warned the orphanage director not to worry if she heard any screams. Then she went to her office.

The Lviv region police reacted to the reports on social media. They announced that an internal investigation had been appointed. During its conduct, the police officer mentioned in the publication has been suspended from his duties.
