Germany has provided Ukraine with new assistance: shells, howitzers, and missiles for IRIS-T
On February 17, the German government announced the provision of a new military aid package to Ukraine, which included equipment, drones, and ammunition for various systems.
In particular, the package included 56 MRAP armored vehicles, ammunition for Leopard 1 tanks, and Marder IFVs.
Additionally, the German government reported the delivery of 282,000 rounds of ammunition for self-propelled anti-aircraft guns, ammunition for Gepard systems, as well as missiles for the IRIS-T SLM and IRIS-T SLS air defense systems.
As part of a joint project with Norway and Denmark, four more Zuzana 2 howitzers were delivered.
Moreover, Germany delivered 50,000 artillery shells of 155 mm caliber and 2,000 of 122 mm caliber.
The German government also announced the delivery of 300 HF-1 strike drones, 51 Vector reconnaissance drones with spare parts, 245 RQ-35 Heidrun reconnaissance drones, 29 Songbird reconnaissance drones, and 14 Hornet XR reconnaissance drones.
In addition, Germany provided demining equipment, over 600 laser rangefinders, and vehicles for border guards.
