The General Staff confirmed the strike on the oil pumping station in the Krasnodar Krai

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the attack on February 20 on the "Novovelichkovskaya" oil pumping station in the Krasnodar Krai of Russia, which services the Tikhoretsk - Novorossiysk-2 pipeline.

As noted by the General Staff, the successful operation was carried out by units of the Security Service in cooperation with other elements of the Defence Forces.

"These oil pumping infrastructure facilities are used to support the occupying Russian army. To protect against our attack means, the enemy used ground-based air defence systems and Ka-52 helicopters. The results of the impact are being clarified," the statement reads.

The General Staff emphasized that combat activities against strategic objects involved in supporting Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine will continue.
