Deputy Head of Kherson Regional Military Administration fatally hit a cyclist: police are investigating

A fatal accident involving the deputy head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration occurred in the village of Posad-Pokrovske, Kherson region. According to the police of the region, the accident happened around 18:00 on the M-14 Odessa – Melitopol – Novoazovsk highway.

According to preliminary information, the deputy head of the Kherson RMA, Volodymyr Klyutsevskyi, driving a Renault Megane, hit a 50-year-old cyclist who was crossing the roadway after coming off a secondary road. As a result of the collision, the man died on the spot.

The head of the Kherson RMA, Oleksandr Prokudin, confirmed the fact of the accident and expressed condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. He noted that an investigation is currently underway and emphasized the importance of official conclusions from law enforcement agencies.

The police continue to investigate all the circumstances of the accident.
