The Ministry of Foreign Affairs called Lavrov’s statement about Zelenskyy antisemitic
The spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Heorhiy Tykhyi, responded to the statement by the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, who called the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy a «pure Nazi and a traitor to the Jewish people», urging Israel to condemn the «outrageous lies» of the Russian minister.
Tykhyi wrote this on the social network X.
The spokesperson for the foreign affairs department reminded that in 2022, Lavrov claimed that Adolf Hitler «had Jewish blood».
«Such statements are not just insane. They should be called what they truly are: anti-Semitism. We urge Israel and Jewish organizations worldwide to condemn Lavrov’s repeated and outrageous lies», – Tykhyi wrote.
