The spring-summer military campaign could prove to be the most unpredictable in all the years of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine.

This was stated by Andriy Biletskyi, commander of the Third Assault Brigade, in an interview with Radio NV.

"This can be compared to what is called the championship round in boxing. Both armies are, to say the least, not in their best shape. I observe certain signs of the Russian army’s combat capability declining. This in no way means that everything is fine with our Armed Forces. No, the situation is unfavorable. But the Russian army has almost no equipment and artillery left, and the level of tactical management has horribly degraded," Andriy Biletskyi noted.

According to intelligence data, particularly from Western countries, there is a certain "decline" in the number of personnel in the occupation army: in recent months, the number of contract soldiers has been decreasing, which throughout 2024 was maintained at about 30,000 new contracts per month. Therefore, in Biletsky’s opinion, the spring-summer campaign may bring many surprises and will not proceed exclusively "according to Russian templates."

"The Russians, to put it mildly, are not all right. These are two boxers who have worked through 8-9 rounds and are not in the best shape. To a certain extent, it is more a question of character than preparation — for whom this championship belt is more important," Andriy Biletskyi believes.

Based on this, he called to stop discussing the topic of negotiations and focus on enhancing the combat training of personnel, improving the quality of command and application of the troops, and their logistics.
