The Russian army carried out 11 strikes on Sumy region during the night and morning: one person injured

During the night and morning of March 11, the Russian army carried out 11 strikes on the Sumy region, with 36 explosions recorded.

This was reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration on Telegram.

The Yunakivka community was shelled by the Russians with artillery, attacked by FPV drones, and subjected to GAB launches.

The enemy struck the Khotin community with an FPV drone and attacked with a UAV. One person was injured, and four two-story apartment buildings, one private residential house, and three vehicles were damaged.

An FPV drone strike was recorded in the Krasnopil community.

It was also noted that in the Sumy region on March 11, air defence forces shot down eight Russian Shahed-type drones.

Since the beginning of 2025, air defence units in Sumy have eliminated 659 Russian drones, the Regional Military Administration emphasized.
