Shot at a car and threatened a passerby with murder: in the Nikopol district, an aggressor was detained

On March 29, at approximately 19:45, a report was received by the police in the Nikopol district regarding a shooting in the city of Pokrov. The incident occurred on Heroiv Artanu Street. At the scene, law enforcement officers found out that a local resident had fired a traumatic pistol at a car with people.

This was reported by Informator with reference to the Dnipropetrovsk region police. 

According to the investigation, a 43-year-old local resident was in the courtyard of a multi-story building. He drew a traumatic weapon and fired in the direction of a car with people. After that, he began to threaten a random 31-year-old passerby that he would kill him.

Law enforcement officers found the suspected shooter. A pistol and ammunition were seized from him. The detainee was charged under Part 4 of Article 296 (hooliganism) and Part 1 of Article 129 (threat of murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
