The situation on the front: Heavy fighting continues in several directions

This is reported by  the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the General Staff, the Defence Forces of Ukraine are taking measures to disrupt the enemy’s plans, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment. In total, since the beginning of the day, there have been 81 combat clashes.

As a result of cynical shelling from the territory of the Russian Federation, the following border settlements were affected:

• Semenivka, Seredyna-Buda, Khutir Mykhailivskyi, Kucherivka, Prokhody, Novovasylivka, Maryine, Ulanove in the Sumy region; Yasna Polyana, Khrinivka in the Chernihiv region;
• Tymofiivka in the Kharkiv region.
• Krasnopillya, Prokhody, Stepok, Uhroidy, and Lisne in the Sumy region were hit by air strikes.

The situation on the fronts

In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy twice attempted to move forward in the areas of Vovchansk and towards Kamyanka.

The Defence Forces successfully stopped two attempts by the enemy to advance in the Kupyansk direction near Zahryzove.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 28 times towards the settlements of Novomykhailivka, Katerynivka, Hrekivka, Olhivka, Novoserhiyivka, Nove, and near Nadiya. Currently, battles are ongoing in 14 locations.

In the Siversk direction, since the beginning of the day, there have been two clashes near Bilohorivka and towards Verkhniokamyanske, with one clash still ongoing.

In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked in the areas of Krymske, Dachne, Toretsk, Leonidivka, and towards Dyliivka, making 13 attempts to improve its position. Three clashes are currently ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the occupiers made 13 attempts to displace our defenders from occupied positions in the areas of the settlements of Andriivka, Sukha Balka, and Yelyzavetivka. The Defence Forces are holding back the enemy’s pressure and have repelled ten enemy attacks. The enemy carried out air strikes with guided bombs on the areas of Pokrovsk and Sukhyi Yar.

Today, in the Novopavlivsk direction, enemy units attacked our forces’ positions five times near Kostyantynopil and Rozlyv, also delivering air strikes in the Bahatyr area. Four attacks are still ongoing.

Today, the enemy attacked our defenders’ positions once in the area of Novosilka in the Hulyaypole direction. At the same time, air strikes were carried out on Novopil, Hulyaypole, and Novodarivka.

In the Orikhiv direction, there were four clashes. The enemy is trying to advance near Mali Shcherbaky and Stepnoe, with two battles still ongoing.

In the Kursk region, Ukrainian defenders repelled seven attacks by the invaders. The enemy also delivered three air strikes, dropping five guided bombs, and carried out 211 artillery shellings. Currently, battles are ongoing in two locations.

In the Prydniprovskyi and Kramatorsk directions, the enemy did not conduct active offensive actions but continues to shell the positions of the Defence Forces and settlements, uses strike drones, and conducts reconnaissance.
