Russians struck the congress center of SumSU, where a children’s performance was to take place

In Sumy, as a result of another attack by Russian troops, the congress center of Sumy State University (SumSU) was damaged, where a children’s play was soon to take place.

This was reported by the city military administration.

«The strike hit the same hall where the children’s play was supposed to start in an hour. Fortunately, at that moment there were no spectators in the premises», — reported the head of Sumy Regional Military Administration (RMA) Volodymyr Artyukh.

The local authorities emphasized that the attack could have caused a mass tragedy — if the hit had occurred just half an hour later, there would have been dozens of children and parents in the hall.
