The euro exceeded 47 hryvnias: the NBU raised the official exchange rate

The National Bank of Ukraine has set a new official euro exchange rate for April 15, 2025 — 47.0271 UAH/€, which for the first time exceeds the mark of 47 hryvnias.

Compared to the previous banking day, the rate increased from 46.9153 UAH/€. The rate was recalculated based on the average international quotation in the euro/dollar currency pair — 1.1382.

The strengthening of the euro occurs against the backdrop of the weakening of the dollar in world markets. It was previously reported that the dollar continues to decline against the euro, affecting the recalculation of the rate in Ukraine.

Financial analysts predict that if these trends continue, the euro may further appreciate against the hryvnia.
