The situation on the front: 67 combat engagements have occurred since the beginning of the day

"Ukraine’s Defence Forces are resisting the offensive of Russian occupiers and are taking necessary measures to prevent the enemy from advancing into Ukrainian territory. There have been 67 combat engagements so far," the statement said.

According to the General Staff, communities in the settlements of Studenok, Dmytrivka, Buvalyne, Nova Sloboda, Porozok, Prokhody, Svarkove, Petrushivka, Tovstodubove, Doroshivka, Vovkivka, Yemadykyne, Bila Bereza, and Utskovе in the Sumy region have suffered from enemy artillery and mortar shelling.

Russian aviation carried out strikes with guided bombs in the areas of the settlements of Osoivka, Magenivka, Krasnopillya, Myropilske, Prokhody, Uhroydy, Mykhailivske, Petrushivka, Ryasne, Mala Rybitsa, and Stepok in the Sumy region.

In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy launched an airstrike in the area of Slatyne.

In the Lyman direction, Russian troops launched 13 attacks on Ukrainian positions near the settlements of Nadiya, Novе, Katerynivka, Hrekivka, Zelena Dolyna, Torske, Bilohorivka, and Hryhorivka during the day. One of the attacks is ongoing.

The General Staff notes that the occupying forces are seeking weak spots in the defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Verkhnokamyanske in the Siversk direction. The defenders successfully repelled one enemy attack, and a battle is currently ongoing.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers twice attempted to advance on Ukrainian positions in the area of Chasiv Yar and Andriivka, with one engagement ongoing.

In the Toretsk direction, four combat engagements were completed, with two additional enemy offensive actions ongoing. The occupiers are trying to advance near Ozarianivka and Toretsk.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian invaders made 19 attempts to push our defenders from their held positions in the areas of the settlements of Sukha Balka, Yelyzavetivka, Lysyivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Kotliarivka, Bohdanivka, and Andriivka. The Defence Forces are holding the pressure and have repelled 16 enemy attacks, with three combat engagements ongoing.

In the Novopavlivsk direction, the enemy tried five times to breach the defense of our defenders in the area of the settlements of Kostyantynopil and Rozlyv. One engagement is ongoing.

In the Hulyaipolе direction, the enemy launched airstrikes with unguided air rockets on Hulyaipole and Zaliznychne.

In the Orihiv direction, our defenders repelled three enemy assaults in the areas of the settlements of Stepove, Lobkove, and Mali Shcherbaky.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the invaders twice attempted to advance toward the positions of Ukrainian units.

In the Kursk direction, there have been 12 battles since the beginning of the day, with three ongoing. Additionally, the enemy launched nine airstrikes, dropping 23 guided bombs and carrying out 246 artillery shellings.

In other directions, there are no significant changes, added the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
