The occupiers attacked an ambulance with a drone in Kherson

On the morning of Thursday, April 17, Russian occupation forces carried out an attack on the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson. The invaders dropped an explosive device from a drone onto an ambulance.

As a result of the strike, a paramedic and a driver were injured. This was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

The medical staff received injuries and are currently receiving assistance. The ambulance sustained serious damage.

"In the morning of April 17, 2025, Russian military forces struck the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson city using a drone. As a result of the explosive device being dropped, an ambulance was damaged. The attack resulted in injuries to a paramedic and the ambulance driver. The vehicle incurred significant damage," the statement said.

The Kherson District Prosecutor’s Office has opened a criminal case regarding the violation of the laws and customs of war (part 1 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). A pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
