ZNPP won’t operate without Ukraine, – Zelenskyy

The Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant cannot operate without Ukraine, it requires Ukrainian technical staff, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced.

"The Zaporizhzhya plant, as it seems to me, has already been stated, currently does not operate on its own. And without Ukraine, it will not work. The United States, with all due respect, is not enough. Our technical staff is needed," Zelenskyy noted during a briefing on Tuesday.

Additionally, there is a question regarding the safety of the population residing in Enerhodar.

However, the president assured that Ukraine is ready to cooperate with the USA regarding the restoration of the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant if Russia leaves the area.
