The occupiers attacked Kyiv with "shaheds": among the victims are children, houses and cars caught fire

On the night of Sunday, May 4, Russian invaders attacked Kyiv with "shaheds." Loud explosions were heard in the capital, and air defense forces engaged the enemy targets. Fires broke out in buildings due to falling debris, and there are casualties.

This was reported by the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration Tymur Tkachenko. In total, seven people were injured in the drone attack, including two children.

The capital’s mayor, Vitaliy Klychko, warned that "shaheds" were approaching Obolonskyi district. Later, it became known that debris fell in the Obolonskyi district, causing a vehicle fire. A fire also broke out on the upper floors of a residential building. The flames spread to the roof, and there was partial destruction of the floors.

"In another location in the Obolonskyi district, seven cars are on fire," added Tkachenko.

He reported that in this district, two children aged 14 and 17 were injured due to the Russian attack.

In the Sviatoshynskyi district, fires broke out in three private houses due to falling UAV debris.

Three women sought medical assistance for acute stress reaction and were treated on-site.

In the Shevchenkivskyi district, debris from enemy drones was also recorded. A tree caught fire, an electric pole was damaged, and the road surface under a railway bridge was affected.

Online sources noted that a fire broke out near the Dream Town mall due to the drone attack. The shopping center also sustained damage: windows were blown out by the blast wave, and the ground was covered with glass. Additionally, cars caught fire nearby.

Ukrainian businessman and philanthropist Harik Korohodskyi announced that the shopping and entertainment center would be temporarily closed.

"Tomorrow ’Dream Berry’ won’t operate; work is underway. But ’Yellow Dream’ functions as usual, so come by. We will double our hospitality," he wrote.
