The Armed Forces of Ukraine showed how mercilessly they are destroying infantry assaults of the occupiers near Lyman

Despite the extremely high concentration of enemy forces and constant attempts to storm Ukrainian positions, defenders on the Lyman direction are resolutely repelling the aggressor. The main role in holding back the infantry assault is played by Ukrainian drones, which «precisely and mercilessly» destroy invaders and their attempts to «penetrate vulnerable spots» of the defence.

The video of the combat actions has been published on the page of the 66th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Mstislav the Brave.

«The number of Russians is excessively large. In just one day, up to 250 invaders are recorded in the brigade’s area of responsibility,» the soldiers share the harsh reality. They note that the enemy «presses along the entire front line held by the brigade, trying to find weak points to consolidate and develop success.»

Despite the numerical superiority of the enemy, Ukrainian defenders effectively counter these attacks, creating «hell on the battlefield» for the invaders. Drones have become the primary means of destruction.

«Drones strike accurately and mercilessly, destroying everything they see,» they say in the brigade. The released footage of the combat actions shows how drones track and eliminate groups of Russian infantry, thwarting their attempts to approach Ukrainian positions.

The soldiers are aware of the complexity of the situation and the enemy’s superiority in manpower in their sector. However, they emphasize their unbreakable determination: «Despite the enemy’s superior forces, we do everything within our power and capabilities.»
