In Ukraine, the number of millionaires has sharply increased — by as much as 63%, — STS

This was reported by the State Tax Service.

According to the head of the State Tax Service, Ruslan Kravchenko, millionaires declared a total income of 253.6 billion UAH, with tax liabilities amounting to 8.7 billion UAH.

«One of the residents of Kyiv determined a record amount of his tax liabilities for personal income tax and military levy payable to the budget — more than 4.6 billion UAH», Kravchenko added.

He noted that citizens declared 326 billion UAH in incomes received for 2024. This is 107 billion UAH more compared to the previous year.

Over 170,000 declarations were submitted in total.

«As a result of the declaration, citizens independently determined the payment of personal income tax — 8.1 billion UAH and military levy — over 1.5 billion UAH», noted Ruslan Kravchenko.

The largest amounts were declared by residents of:

− Kyiv — 156 billion UAH,

− Dnipropetrovsk region — almost 30 billion UAH,

− Lviv region — 18.2 billion UAH,

− Kyiv region — 17.5 billion UAH.

The largest sources of income declared by citizens were:

− foreign incomes — 34.2 billion UAH,

− inheritance and gifts — 13.6 billion UAH,

− incomes from the sale of movable and immovable property — 6.8 billion UAH,

− investment incomes — 4.9 billion UAH,

− other taxable incomes — 4 billion UAH,

− incomes from rent of property — 3.4 billion UAH.
