Russian occupiers are changing tactics in an attempt to capture Kostyantynivka, - military

Russian occupiers attempted a frontal assault on Kostyantynivka from the direction of Toretsk, but this plan failed thanks to the actions of Ukrainian defenders. After that, the enemy began to change their strategy.

This was reported by a lieutenant of the Ukrainian Armed Forces with the call sign "Alex".

Now the Russians are trying to bypass Kostyantynivka from the west.

"For 9 months, the successes of the enemy from the side of Toretsk and New York have been extremely insignificant, considering the resources and means expended, so they are intensifying pressure in other directions in the area of Oleksandropil and Novoolenivka," noted the Ukrainian Armed Forces lieutenant.

He added that in some areas, Russian infantry managed to reach the road between Pokrovsk and Kostyantynivka.

"Overall, we are facing a tough battle for Konstakha (Kostyantynivka - ed.), which has already effectively begun," emphasized the Ukrainian Armed Forces lieutenant.
