Deputy Minister of Education of Ukraine Mykhailo Vynnytskyi reported that a significant number of men over the age of 25, listed as students of higher educational institutions, will be expelled based on the results of the spring session.

According to him, a large-scale inspection is currently being conducted in over a hundred universities regarding the actual attendance of male students who have reached the age of 25. The inspections include both physical attendance of students in full-time education and examination of examination documentation.

«If it is full-time education, the inspection is carried out directly in the classrooms. Documents and exam results are also being studied. It is already evident that this year a significant number of such students will be expelled based on the results of May-June», — noted Vynnytskyi.

The inspections were initiated amidst growing suspicions of fictitious enrollment, which may be used by men of conscription age to avoid mobilization.
