About 20 cases of the use of new Russian munitions "Banderolet" have already been recorded in the south, said the spokesperson for the southern defence forces, Vladyslav Voloshyn.

According to him, this munition is something between a UAV and a cruise missile. These munitions are launched from UAVs, such as the Ukrainian "Bayraktar" – "Orion".

"The mass of the explosive substance is approximately 150 kg. These are fragmentation-explosive munitions. The main threat is its range – the Russians claim it can fly up to 700 km, but we have recorded a distance of about 310-320 km. In addition, it has a fairly high speed – up to 480 km per hour," – said Voloshyn.
