Coordination Headquarters: Some of the Ukrainian soldiers released today were considered missing

Some of the Ukrainian prisoners released today in the exchange were considered missing, the coordination headquarters reports.

The military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard, and the State Border Guard Service have returned. Some have been in captivity for over three years – since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. All are men, representatives of the private and non-commissioned ranks.

Ukrainian authorities call this the second stage of the exchange of wounded and sick prisoners. Until this week, there was an exchange of soldiers under the age of 25. In today’s exchange, the youngest released is 22 years old, the oldest is 59 years old.

Thus, this is the third exchange in a week. The number of those released is not mentioned. Zelenskyy makes it clear that there will be more exchanges, and only after that the number will be named.
