Russia has strengthened railway logistics for transferring military cargo through the occupied Luhansk region
More freight trains carrying military cargo will operate between the occupied part of the Luhansk region and Russia.
This was reported by the head of the "LPR" group, Leonid Pasechnik.
According to him, railway connections with the Rostov and Belgorod regions of Russia have been strengthened in two directions: through the "Krasnaya Mogila — Gukovo" checkpoint (with a capacity of about eight pairs of trains per day) and through "Lantratovka — Valuyki" (up to seven pairs of trains per day).
Rail transport remains the key means of delivering weapons and ammunition to the occupied territories. There is currently no mention of launching passenger services.
