Iran launched missile strikes on Israel: a refinery is on fire in Haifa

Iran once again launched ballistic missiles against Israel. The central regions of the country were hit, including the cities of Haifa, as well as Tel Aviv and its suburbs.

It is noted that air defense forces intercepted missiles over Tel Aviv. Air raid sirens also sounded in Jerusalem.

According to the "Magen David Adom" organization, several people sustained minor injuries as a result of the attack. Fires broke out at the sites of impact.

In the city of Petah Tikva, an Iranian missile struck a residential building, causing a fire. According to the latest data, three people died in the city.

Damage to residential buildings

In central Israel, Iranian missiles hit two apartment buildings. Two people sustained moderate injuries, and ten others were lightly injured.

The Ichilov Medical Center in Tel Aviv noted that after the latest ballistic missile attack from Iran, four people were admitted to the hospital. They are in conditions ranging from light to moderate.

In a Tel Aviv district called Bush Dan, 20 injured people were evacuated from a residential building hit by a missile.

Damage to the power grid in Tel Aviv

The Israeli Electric Corporation reported that Iranian strikes damaged the local power grid in central Israel.

"Crews are working on site to eliminate the hazards, including the risk of electric shock due to damaged power lines," the corporation reported.

"Simultaneously, infrastructure repair and power supply restoration works are underway," it added.

Strike on the oil refinery in Haifa

In the coastal Israeli city of Haifa, explosions occurred, resulting in damaged buildings and ignited infrastructure.

During the missile attack, the sky over the oil refinery was illuminated. Buildings and infrastructure caught fire as the rockets hit the target.

According to the Ynet publication, the number of hospitalizations in Israel has risen to 29.
