During the latest Russian attacks on Ukraine, the use of a new series of Iranian drones, Shahed-136, was reported. They are equipped not only with a camera.

This was reported by the channel "Colonel GS," which published the corresponding photo. It is noted that, likely, Russia is now receiving ready-made products from Iran in exchange for other weapon samples.

"The use of a new Iranian series of strike UAV Shahed-136 — ’MS’ (old series M) by the enemy has been noted. This UAV is equipped with a new Iranian 4-antenna CRPA satellite navigation and a camera. Other components, such as the engine, remain unchanged," the report says.

It is known that the camera, together with the Nvidia Jetson module, is responsible for precise targeting of the UAV using machine vision. The presence of such drones in Russia indicates that Iran is actively supplying the Kremlin with its latest developments. It is likely that in exchange for this, it receives certain samples of Russian weapons, seeking to improve its arsenal during the active phase of the conflict with Israel.
