Cherkasy RMA advises locals to stock up on personal protective equipment due to a possible chemical threat

The Cherkasy Regional Military Administration urged residents of the region to prepare individual protection means in case of chemical danger.

This was announced by Anton Tsaryuk, Deputy Head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, on June 26 during a briefing published on the administration’s official YouTube channel.

According to him, there are chemically hazardous facilities located in the Cherkasy region that could become targets for attacks from Russia. At the same time, Tsaryuk emphasized that these facilities are maximally protected from potential damage.

"For each potentially dangerous object, the worst-case scenarios of emergencies have been developed, according to which the public is notified," the official noted.

He also stressed that every family’s "emergency kit" must include chemical protection means. According to Tsaryuk, such means can be easily purchased today and one can become familiar with their use. He paid special attention to the availability of protection means for children, which are an important part of preparation for the worst-case scenario.
