Chmut answered whether Ukraine can receive missiles for Patriot bypassing Washington

The head of the charity foundation «Come Back Alive», Taras Chmut, emphasized that the creation of Ukraine’s own Patriot is not even a subject for discussion at the moment.

He said this in an interview with the YouTube channel «Militarnyi».

According to him, the possibility of Ukraine obtaining missiles for the Patriot system without the involvement of the United States is doubtful.

«You can talk about Japan, Germany, and so on, but in reality, only the States. In different configurations, because even if something is made in Germany, a significant part of the components will still be American,» he emphasized.

Taras Chmut noted that even if the missiles are produced abroad, the key components are still of American manufacture, so bypassing the United States in this process is practically impossible.
