The AFU have destroyed 100 heavy flamethrower systems of Russia since the beginning of the invasion — General Staff

Russian invaders have lost 100 powerful flamethrower systems since the beginning of the large-scale invasion of Ukraine.

This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"What powerful flamethrower systems (FVS) do the Russian occupiers possess? These are the ’Buratino’ (TOS-1) - the first version, ’Solntsepek’ (TOS-1A) - the modernized version, and ’Tosochka’ (TOS-2) - on a wheeled chassis.

Also, in 2024, a public demonstration of the new tracked flamethrower system TOS-3 ’Dragon’ was held for propaganda purposes, with its development being carried out by ’Omsktransmash’. The further fate of this FVS is unknown," the General Staff comments.

The destruction of several of them can be seen in a video from the Command of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
