Shabunin will soon receive a new suspicion — for fraud

Volunteers reported that the head of the Anti-Corruption Action Center used a car, which they had sent to the front lines, for his own purposes.

According to Dolinskyi, co-founder of the "Paladins" charity fund, Shabunin’s associate Sherembey informed them that he was mobilized and heading to Donbas. Businessmen from the CEO Club raised money for the car (average cost — €5-7,000), and the charity fund organized the logistics for delivering the car at their own expense.

A 2005 Nissan Pathfinder entered Ukraine as a humanitarian vehicle. It was handed over to Shabunin personally. It is reported that the vehicle was never delivered to the front lines and remained with Shabunin.

Previously, the head of the Anti-Corruption Action Center was served with a notice of suspicion — for evading military service and fraud. The court has already imposed a preventive measure in this case — a personal commitment until August 20. Shabunin is also implicated in cases of falsifying documents for the National Agency on Corruption Prevention and illegal use of humanitarian aid.
