The new government of Ukraine is starting an audit and optimization of state expenditures and apparatus
The new government, approved by the deputies on July 17, plans to reduce state expenditures. For this purpose, an audit will be conducted. In addition, the Cabinet intends to optimize the state apparatus.
This was announced by Prime Minister Yuliya Svyrydenko. However, she did not disclose details of the upcoming reduction, noting only that work on this is already underway.
"We have already begun work on optimizing the state apparatus. And we are moving towards a full audit of expenditures with the aim of reducing them," the statement reads.
At the same time, Svyrydenko emphasized that Ukraine will not change its direction of development. According to the Prime Minister, the country will continue to move towards:
- European integration;
- NATO.
"Ahead of us are complex joint tasks, new challenges of war, and a lot of work," the head of government summarized.
In addition, on Facebook, Svyrydenko noted that the new government "is one of the smallest in terms of the number of ministers in history." According to her, this is evidence of the chosen "course to reduce the apparatus."
