In the occupied Torske, Donetsk region, Russian invaders shot a civilian

This was reported by the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office on Facebook.

It is noted that, according to operational data, on July 6, 2025, at 07:55, a cyclist was moving along the road lined with private houses destroyed by the enemy in the village of Torske, Lyman community.

"From an ambush set up between the trees, servicemen of the aggressor state opened precise fire on him. When the wounded civilian fell to the ground, two occupiers approached him, after which one of them deliberately finished the man off with a shot from automatic weapons," the prosecutor’s office reported.

Prosecutors have documented this fact of a war crime that led to the death of a person (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Urgent investigative (search) actions are currently underway to establish all the circumstances of the event and identify the victim of the occupiers.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by the SSU in Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
